Why: As a result of their service, many veterans have PTSD. A service dog helps to anchor them in the present moment when things get too overwhelming. However, it takes a lot of time, effort and expense to train a service dog. By supporting the Wounded Warriors Canada PTSD Service Dog Program we increase the possibility for a veteran to receive a service dog sooner rather than later. We are committed to supporting the mental health of veterans so they can live life powerfully and independently.
