Reiki Art Sound Healing – Art Exhibition, Live Music, Silent Auction & Food!
When: Saturday, February 8, 2020. 3pm-6pm.
Where: Lansing United Church, 49 Bogert Ave, Toronto, ON. M2N 1K4. (Wheelchair accessible)
Why: As a result of their service, many veterans have PTSD. A service dog helps to anchor them in the present moment when things get too overwhelming. However, it takes a lot of time, effort and expense to train a service dog. By supporting the Wounded Warriors Canada PTSD Service Dog Program we increase the possibility for a veteran to receive a service dog sooner rather than later. We are committed to supporting the mental health of veterans so they can live life powerfully and independently.
What: Join us for a unique event that combines Art, Music, and Reiki (energy healing). Gaze at the beautiful artwork by local artists along with some Group of Seven prints on display. Soak in the magic of a live musical performance as reiki practitioners channel healing energy to the room. As you wander the event you will see a fabulous silent auction with a variety of items to bid on such as a Star Wars Collector’s Item Figurine, a luxurious spa gift certificate, handmade jewelry, a dog gift basket, one of a kind art pieces and more! Don’t forget to stop by the reiki table to experience a quick energy treatment! Read about the benefits of reiki here. We will begin the event with a short guided meditation & speech by the charity. We will close the event with the last bids on the silent auction, a short guided meditation and thank you’s.
When you leave your heart will be full of gratitude. You’re so glad you came. You feel profoundly blessed that you were able to contribute to a wonderful charity and experience such an amazing event. Proceeds go to the Wounded Warriors Canada PTSD Service Dog Program.
